Invoices and payment methods

Accepted payment methods, billing cycles, and where to find your invoices.

Payments run through Stripe. Nodest never sees or stores your card details — Stripe takes the payment and issues the invoice.

Which payment methods you see at checkout depends on where you are — Stripe offers the ones available in your country.

Monthly or yearly

Choose the cycle on the billing page before picking a plan. Yearly costs ten months' worth for twelve, and renews once a year instead of every month.

Action limits are counted per month either way. A yearly plan doesn't hand you twelve months of actions to spend at once — the allowance resets each month, exactly as it does on monthly billing.

Finding your invoices

Open Billing in your workspace and choose Manage subscription. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where your full invoice history lives and every invoice can be downloaded as a PDF.

Stripe also emails an invoice on each charge, to the address on the account. If accounting needs them elsewhere, change the billing email in the portal.

Updating card and company details

The portal is also where you change the card and your billing details — company name, address, and VAT ID.

Changes apply to invoices issued from that point on. Earlier invoices can't be reissued, so enter your VAT ID at checkout rather than after the first charge. A billing address is required at checkout; a VAT ID is optional, and EU business customers who provide a valid one get the reverse-charge treatment automatically.

Update an expiring card before the renewal date. A failed payment marks the subscription Past due on the billing page; Stripe retries over the following days, and the badge clears once one succeeds.

Changing plan mid-cycle

Upgrades apply immediately. You're invoiced for the new plan with credit for the unused part of the current one, and the amount is shown for confirmation before anything is charged.

Downgrades apply at the end of the current period. You keep what you paid for until then, with nothing charged or refunded in between.

Cancelling

Cancel any time, from the portal or by contacting support. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period, then drops to Starter — no partial-period refunds. Any unused action credits lapse at that point, so spend them before cancelling.
