What an assistant can access

What a connected assistant can and cannot do with your workspace, and how it counts against your plan.

An assistant connected to an MCP server can use the tools you ticked, and nothing else.

It uses your existing connections

When the assistant runs a tool, the request goes out through the connection this workspace already has for that integration. It never sees your credentials, API keys or passwords.

Read and write

Tools marked Read only fetch data. Everything else can create, change or delete things in the connected tool. Tick those deliberately.

Tool calls count towards your plan

Every tool an assistant runs counts as one action against your monthly allowance, the same as a step in an automation. When the allowance runs out the assistant is told it cannot continue until the plan is upgraded or the billing period resets.

Every call is recorded

Each tool call appears in History alongside your automation runs, showing which tool ran, what was sent, what came back and how long it took.

Cutting off access

Switching a server off stops it answering immediately, for every assistant connected to it. Deleting the server does the same permanently. Both leave the History behind.
