Q: What can Nodest see and change in my Asana account?

Nodest acts as the person who authorized the connection, so it reaches exactly the workspaces, projects, and tasks that person can already reach, but nothing beyond. Tasks and comments created by an automation are attributed to that user in Asana.

Q: Do I need a paid Asana plan?

Asana's free Personal plan is enough to create, update, comment on, and complete tasks. Custom fields are the exception: Asana includes them from the Starter plan upwards, so on a free plan those inputs have nothing to offer.

Q: Do I have to reconnect Asana periodically?

No. Nodest renews the authorization in the background, so the connection keeps working until you disconnect it or someone revokes access in Asana. If that happens, reconnect from the Integrations page and existing automations pick up where they left off.

Q: How do I connect Brevo to Nodest?

In Brevo, open the account menu and go to Settings → SMTP & API → API Keys & MCP, then generate a new key. In Nodest, open Integrations, choose Connect Brevo, and paste the key. Brevo shows a key only at the moment you create it, so copy it before you leave that page.

Q: Do I need an API key or an SMTP key to connect Brevo?

An API key. Brevo offers both, and they aren't interchangeable: SMTP keys only authorize sending mail over SMTP, so contacts, lists, and CRM actions will be rejected. Generate the key from the API Keys tab, not the SMTP tab.

Q: Should I give the API key an expiry date?

When a key expires, every Brevo step in every automation fails until you generate a replacement and paste it into the connection. Choose no expiry, or set a reminder well ahead of the date.

Q: Do I have to create the webhooks in Brevo myself?

No. Switching on an automation with a Brevo trigger registers the webhook in your Brevo account, and switching it off removes it again. There is nothing to add by hand under Brevo's webhook settings.

Q: What is the difference between the marketing and transactional triggers?

Marketing events come from campaigns sent to your lists, transactional events from individual emails sent.
